Peadar Kirby

Peadar Kirby is Professor Emeritus of International Politics and Public Policy, University of Limerick and the author of numerous books. His latest book, written with Tadhg O’Mahony, is entitled ‘The Political Economy of the Low-Carbon Transition: Pathways Beyond Techno-Optimism’ was published by Palgrave Macmillan last January. He is currently writing a book on the global political crisis and how climate change may impact. Peadar lives in Cloughjordan Ecovillage and is a director of Sustainable Projects Ireland which runs the ecovillage.
